Norway 2018 - Nærøyfjord

Today we toured Nærøyfjord (narrow fjord) on a rib boat (Rigid Inflatable Boat). Up close & personal experience.  We saw porpoises and seals + lots of birds. This was a wonderful way to see the narrowest fjord canyon, more fun than the ferries. It was cold, 5° C, and we flew across the open water at speeds of 40 or more knots. The tour provided insulated flotation suits, hi-tech life preservers, goggles, and insulated gloves.

We saw waterfall after waterfall after waterfall, little settlements, raspberry farms, and so much more. We thought it prudent to only take one camera and my sweet Jamie volunteered to be the trip photographer 😘. No tablet on this outing so no pictures until we return to Oregon. But take a look at these.
This is the boat we went on; the other 2 pictures are from tourist brochures.
