Today was pretty laid back, just walked around the town, visited the few places that were open (it's Sunday), and made plans for the next few days.
The church was built in the Neo-Stave manner in 1897, to bring proper British worship to town; services are still held every Sunday.
The setting of this & other fjord villages simply blows my mind. Can you imagine living here as the hearty Viking souls have done for centuries?
Harbors & marinas always intrigue me.
Pears & other fruit trees thrive here, in spite of an extremely protracted growing season.
