This is the first of several posts, and I intend to get them all done by Christmas Eve.
We flew into San Jose, arriving after midnight. The next morning we were at the airport again to catch the little plane across the country to the northern Caribbean Coast village of Tortuguero. Our plane, the little landing strip between the ocean & the river, the lovely Tortuga Lodge across the river from the airstrip.
Next up will be some pictures from our boating & kayaking trips along the rivers & canals of the Parque Nacional Tortuguero.
