Eleven years ago I had the pleasure of attending an art workshop in Harbor Springs Michigan, led by internationally acclaimed watercolorist Cheng-Khee Chee. I flew into Grand Rapids and drove along the Lake Michigan coast, visiting many of the little towns en route. My two favorite towns were Charlevoix and Harbor Springs.
That solo trip was so delightful; I always wanted to experience this lovely state with my sweet hubby Jamie. And now we are doing just that!
A couple days ago we took a day trip from our base camp to visit Charlevoix and Harbor Springs - my memory served me well. We both love both little towns.
