There's a nice walkway from the harbor down the river canal connecting Round Lake and Lake Michigan, inland harbor to the lighthouse. It's fun to see the drawbridge in action, and we got to watch a ferry exiting the harbor. Nice walk after a local lunch of whitefish n chips!

Charlevoix
This little lake-side town is a tourist mecca, and draws crowds of yachties from all over - many come from Florida and Texas. We are always drawn to harbors and gawk in amazement at the boats/ships which are obviously owned by the mega-rich. We got up-close-and-personal with a couple speed boats - this one is a 42 footer! A little boat-envy on my part. . .
