LATE SPRING IN TAOS NM

We moved from Farmington to Taos New Mexico Saturday April 26th.  Absolutely beautiful drive through the northern NM mountains, but it's not quite spring yet.  We've marked the area as a 'must return' when things have greened up, or perhaps in the fall.  We're parked at a lovely rv park in El Prado, which is the northwest edge of Taos.  It's been chilly, with very high winds -- and there was SNOW Saturday night, highly unusual for the last week of April.  We've become such weather-wimps, and we don't like it one darn bit.  We've surely been spoiled with the lovely winter in the south.  Oh well.  Guess I'll paint today :-)
This is the view from our back window Sunday morning.  It's really lovely, in spite of the cold, snow, and wind.
